miracle (चमत्कार)

MIRACLE(CHAMTKAAR)
When someone performs a wonderful act, which is generally not expected from a common person, is said miracle. Nature's every action is miracle because no man can perform such act. We cannot make sun, moon, earth, sea, wind, men, animals, insects etc. There are seven wonders (man made) in the world. How does one do a miracle? When one has strong will power to do a job, has full faith and confidence on one’s efficiency, has extreme dedication to one’s work and has unlimited devotion for guru; miracle is performed automatically. If I start imitating Ram, Krishna, Gandhi, Jawahar, Rajendra Prasad, Lal bahadur shastri, Sankaracharya, Vivekanand and acquire their qualities, our all actions will automatically be miracles. Dr. Rajendra Prasad topped in the Entrance Examination of Calcutta University (the single university covering Bengal, Bihar and Orissa). This was not an ordinary thing, rather a miracle. When I concentrate my mind too deep in a subject, I know its detailed information. By the power of brahmacharya, output of tough penance and grace of 'Maa vagdevi-the goddess of intelligence'; everything is possible.
To do miracle in any field, super specialty is required. There should be a special skill, which only you can perform. This type of proficiency is achieved when practices in any field is started from the very childhood with hundred percent dedication. When I put into practice a job infinite time, I become unique. Only then, Sachin Tendulkar, Vishwanathan Anand,Sankaracgarya,Vivekanand, Kavindra Ravindra, Sir C.V. Raman, Rajendra Prasad can be produced.
Our ‘varna-vyavastha’ (jaati-pratha:-caste system) was introduced only for specialization. Brahmin’s son became expert in studies (gyan-vigyan; knowledge and science). Chhatriya’s sons were brave (warier, administrator). Vaishya’s sons became expert in business and Sudra’s sons in service of the society. Sudra’s work was most easier & the best of all when we consider the matter spiritually. Our all honourable ministers, MPs, MLAs are social servants. Are they inferior to anybody? They are on our heads. In the latter days, spiritualism decreased in the society. We began to hate our profession. Untouchability developed among castes. Attraction towards other professions developed. Naturally, experts vanished.
The creator has given infinite power in every person’s brain. We utilize only few percentage of it. Lord Krishna utilized hundred percent and so his life was full of miracles. Ram, Budhha, Parasuram, Barah, Vaaman, Matsya came with some less percentage. Even then, their actions were full of wonders. All of them were gyanies (realized soul) and were capable to do any miracle but they detested such actions. To perform miracles is of lower level work, which is a big hurdle in the path of penance. When you start to proceed in the path of spiritualism, these obstacles automatically come. Nevertheless, we have to proceed without looking towards these disruptions. ---Ohm Namo Bhagvate Sri Ramanay.

apologize

APOLOGIZE
‘To err is human’. Never be too much sorrowed for a mistake, which has been committed by you unknowingly. To commit mistake is your nature. There is a brahmastra (the solid solution) to eradicate the errors. You immediately express regret. This brahmastra will surely wipe out your culpability whether done knowingly or unknowingly and cool down the reaction of opposite party. Thus, you get double benefits. I have personally experienced this medicine so many times and was always relieved.
I was a student of 2nd year and residing in the hostel no. 13. Dr. X was hostel superintendent. Dr. Y  was chief warden of the institution. Bhaiya’s (T.N & H.N) friend was Mr C, a guard in Indian Railways at Dhanbad. His son-in-law was reading at Mesra, one class junior to me. He got transferred to our institution, the reason best known to him. I did not enquire and did not know. Getting my address from bhaiya, he came to me, told about his transfer and admission and wished to live in my hostel. Though it was for 2nd year, any student with due permission of chief warden, could live if room was found vacant. There was a room vacant just beside mine. I went to chief warden and got allotted the room for him. He shifted in the room. He had too much homesickness. He was newly married and most of the time went to his father-in-law’s residence at Dhanbad. I passed 2nd year and the hostel was changed, it was hostel no.14. I came to my new hostel. Mr. Chaudhari’s son-in-law's room was locked. The caretaker informed the hostel superintendent and told that he belonged to my reference. Dr. X ordered verbally that the room should immediately be vacated. The caretaker came to me and gave the message. I wanted to inform Jhajee (Chaudharijee’s son-in-law) but could not. Dr. X  threatened the caretaker about his job. He started to come to me daily. One day, he came early in the morning. He awoke me from deep sleep. I became too much irritated and scolded him very roughly. He went to Dr. X  and told him the whole thing about rebuking and telling words against the warden also. In those days, there was very tough discipline in technical institutes and it was not expected from a student to speak a single word against a teacher. Moreover, he was my departmental teacher and I was a noble student. Dr. X  became fire. He summoned me. I understood everything. I thought about the matter and decided to tell him the whole fact calmly. I went to him very nobly, saluted and bowed before him respectfully and before his saying anything, expressed regret. He was cooled down because his ego was contented. He ordered the caretaker to put all the material in the common room till Chaudharijee’s son-in-law’s arrival. I was relieved from the tension and thanked The Almighty a lot.
Although, I apologized but was always afraid of Dr. X. To my great surprise, Dr. X went to a foreign  for his research work and did not return till my study there. OHM RAMANAYASWAAHAA.

BEAUTY

Who is the most beautiful in the world? Is the physical beauty ultimate scale of measurement of beauty? Were Sita, Savitri, Draupadi, Kunti, Tara, Damyanti, Ansuiya, Mandodari, Urmila, Mother Teresa etc, physically most beautiful in the world of their times, which made them so famous? The answer will obviously be ‘no’. They might be number one in this criterion also. However, this will be paid a few percentages of the overall qualities, which made them so famous in the history.
Among the above names some are ideal wives, some ideal mother and some have adopted serving downtrodden. Consider the first name Sita. She is all-rounder and ideal woman of all forms. See her role as daughter, elder sister, wife, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law and mother. She will get cent-percent marks. Ram was ordered to go to the forest, not Sita. Nevertheless, she herself forced Ram to take her with him. Her mother and father wished to take her to Janakpur but she straightly refused. Her father-in-law, mother-in-law and all friends reminded the pain of the forest, but she made all of them answerless. Think the situation in the present context. Few women will accept the pain of the forest. Sita got infinite pains in the forest but she enjoyed, keeping her husband in the heart. When you keep your all burden in the train, you enjoy the journey. This type of devotion she had for her husband. When you worship your husband like guru and god, your all problems will be solved automatically. Your tastes, likes and dislikes will be same to your husband. Ram, Sita and Lakshaman go to the great sage Atri’s cottage, when they saw that lot of the people started to gather around them at Panchvati. Maharshi sent Sita to his wife Ansuiya. Ansuiya was most pious woman in the universe. She taught Sita the qualities of a pativrata (the woman whose husband is everything in her life). There are four categories of women. The first never thinks about another person but husband. The second thinks like brother, son, father, uncle etc. The third has softness for another male but fearing the family and social dignity does not involve in corruption. The fourth has no fear, always thinks about another male and is very involved in corruption. The third and fourth become widow in so many future births. The first should be worshipped like goddess. The second is general woman but can go lower or higher according to the company. These types of women have more inclination towards their mother side. They ignore in-laws and sometimes husbands also. Sita is herself an ideal woman and doesn’t need preaching. In the last, Ansuiya also said that preaching was not for her but for the whole world. Savitri is similar. She is ideal wife, ideal daughter, ideal sister and ideal daughter-in-law. She proved herself unique wife who brought the soul of her husband from Yamraj (the god of death). Urmila gladly sent her husband with the elder in the forest and lived fourteen years alone. Can this sacrifice be imagined in present time when one brother kills his own brother for selfishness? Mother Teresa sacrificed her life in the service of down trodden. All other names above mentioned are famous for sacrifices, purity and other heavenly qualities.
The obvious conclusion about the beauty is clear. The person whose overall character is good is the most beautiful. Only physical beauty is of zero importance rather, beautiful wife has been called enemy. Internal chaste is of prime importance. Holy, divine, religious and saintly character should be worshipped.

BAUKI

Her name was Bauki (dumb) but she was baachaal (one who speaks more than normal). Contrary to the other baachaals, she spoke true. This is rare. When you speak more, you speak more lie. Our saints have always indicated towards maun (silence). There are other benefits but the main is purity of the speeches. Gyanis (realized persons) most of the time, remain in silence. Scholars also like to keep silence. Vibrating vessels cannot contain water. Stability of mind is essential to attain knowledge. Instability of mind is big hurdle in the path of searching truth. ‘Adhjal gagri chhalkat jay’. Empty vessel sounds more. When a man is speaking all the time, his is surely an ignorant person of instable mind having little knowledge. Little knowledge is a dangerous thing. There are certain exceptions when gyanis preach. Coming down from climax (samaadhi-trance), they speak for the welfare of the world. When, gyanies start to speak, these ignorant foolish speakers become dumb. Lord Krishna is the best orator of all times. He is param-gyani (the number one among realized) and master of masters. Ramkrishna Paramhans preached his disciples. Sankaracharya, Ram Sharma Acharya also gave preaching. Bhagvan Raman Maharshi spoke few words while preaching. He spent more time in silence. Realized souls can remain in silence or can give preaching as they wish but they cannot speak artificial.
It is upon you, in which category you keep Bauki. It may be that she might be a saint in her past life. Her behavior was quite natural. We were reading in Kapariya Middle School. In the southern side of village Kapariya, at a distance of about 1K.M, there is a big pond named ‘Gumti-pokhar’. On its western bank, Kapariya Middle School is situated. On the northern bank, there is a big mango orchard where we played in the tiffin-time. In the east of the orchard, lower school building existed. On the eastern bank, there was a khadhi bhandar which manager was Mr. Ganga Singh, Yamuna sir’s (the head of the school) elder. On the southern bank of the pond, Subodh dome (a lower caste of Hindus who prepares bamboo material) lived. People hate the caste, but we enjoyed his company. In the lunch break, we gathered near him. His wife was very beautiful and she also took interest in talking with us. Subodh dome married every year and changed his wife. His caste law permitted this. We were very ignorant of all these things. I only remember that we enjoyed talking with him and his wife.
Bauki lived in village Dostpur one Km. south of Karmauli. She belonged to a reputed halwai (sweet maker) family of Dostpur. Her family’s profession was to prepare sweets and salty materials like vegetable chop, pakaura (cutlet), murhi (fried rice) etc. Bauki took a basket on her head. In the basket she put murhi, ghughni (wet salty preparation made of boiled gram), potato-chop, kach (spicy cutlet made of onion), laddu (small round sweet made of flour of gram and sugar) and bundiyaa (laddu is made by collecting some bundiya). Her granddaughter accompanied her. They both sat near a tube-well in the north-western corner of khadhi-bhandar just beside the road which was also the north eastern corner of the Gumti-pokhar. After the over of the classes, we used to run to Bauki. Our special was murhi and kach. The crowd gathered around her. She took out some murhi and kach on a piece of paper and her grand daughter served to all students one by one. We were too much hungry and ate to our satisfaction taking so many times. After drinking water on the tube-well, we paid ten paisa each. She never asked for more. The charge of one time serve was ten paisa. Suppose, one boy took five times, he should have to pay fifty paisa. But, each paid for one time only. This was our daily routine. We were pleased that we cheated her by paying fewer amounts. She was also pleased to sell all material in a few hour.
After finishing my studies, I came in job. I went to my village in Durga-pooja. My eldest son Nilu was two years old. I saw Bauki in my courtyard surrounded by small children. Nilu was also among them. Her another smaller granddaughter was with her. The older was married and had gone to her husband's village. I also went near her and made her remember our schooldays. I reminded her about cheating. She laughed loudly and narrated that she knew everything. She further added “What you will cheat, it is I who cheated you all. I was enjoying the monkey brigade on free of cost and earned a lot in a few hours. From the profit, I served my seven-member family. I enjoyed the role of Maa Yashodaa surrounded by gwal-bal and had indescribable pleasure. Now, my life has become dry and charmless. What a pleasant life was that!” I heard her description and saluted her divine ideas.
Now, she is no more. But, whenever I remember her, my eyes become wet. She was surely a saint in her past life. I bow before her divine views.------------- Ohm Namo Ramanay.

GOAPNIYATAA (SECRECY)

There is no need of secrecy in the life of an ideal person. A yogi’s (saint’s) life is an open book. When you lead your life without cunningness and cleverlessness, you need not require to keep secrecy. But, for the betterment of physical life, there is some works which privacy is essential. It is said that bhojan (to take food), bhog (to enjoy) and yog (penance) should be done very secretly. ‘Na vishwaset kumitre cha, mitrechaapi na vishwaset; Kadaachit kupitan mitran sarvan guhyan prakaashayet.’ One should neither trust on bad friends nor believe blindly on good friends. In anger, he may disclose all secrets.
I remember Pt. Lakshaman Jha’s two friends’ real story. They two were bosom from their very childhood. They were sharing each other’s every secrecy. On occasions, they went each other’s homes and enjoyed the events. They offered costly gifts to each other. In the Acharya-exam., they met after the examination, discussed with each other and knew each other’s right and wrong answers. When the result published, the right answer writer got less marks. But, he knew that his friend had written wrong answers. He challenged the examiner. The copies were rechecked. The second became first. After sometime, there was only one vacancy. The topper got the job. Now, the two became daggers-drawn.
However, this is not always true. There are examples when one friend has sacrificed everything for other. Spiritualism always advises to trust. ‘Vishwase fal dayakah.’ You will get result according to reliance. Ram Krishna Paramhans talked with Maa Bhagvati Kali like his own mother. Sankaracharya, Maharshi Raman saw all these things like dreams. Only Self is true and all other things are false. ‘Samjho jag ko na nira sapnaa, path aap prashast karo apnaa.’ The Indian poet’s line should not be ignored. Saakaar and Niraakaar are both true. Have faith on Guru and He will clear the suspicion.--------Namo Bhagvate shree Ramanay.

SANYAM (SELF-CONTROL)

Sanyam is a great penance and root of all penances. ‘Drishtipootan nyasedpadan, wastrapootan jalan pivet; Satyapootan wadedwakyan, manahpootan samacharet.’ One should walk after seeing the path well and drink water after being assured that it is pure. Speak sentences after being fully acquainted that it is true and act after deeply thinking its pros and cons. Samyak may be treated similar to sanyam. Thus, you reach near Buddha’s preaching. Sanyam never forbids any action, rather teaches to do appropriately and thus equals to samyak. When one falls ill, he is advised to take light suitable food and take rest. In my childhood, I have seen the fever patient being kept in long fasting. We felt too much hunger and begging food but grandfather did not allow. Mother willed to give but, due to fear of father-in-law, she dared not. Sanyam indicates towards self adopted appropriateness; not self punishment. We avoid baantar (allergic things).
When you lead sanyamit jeevan (self-controlled life), you accept and act which cannot harm you in any way and which supports your mental and physical progress. Bapu’s (Gandhijee’s) three tutor monkeys are famous. One has shut its mouth, another ears and the third its eyes. ‘Bura mat bolo, bura mat suno and bura mat dekho.’ Do not speak, do not hear and do not see bad things. This is nothing but having control while speaking, hearing and seeing. One should only speak, hear and see goodness of others. Only see, speak and hear badness of yourself to be self purified. ‘Nindak niyare raakhiye, aangan kuti chhabay; Bin paanee saabun bina nirmal kare subhaay.’ The critiques should be kept nearer by giving them residential facilities. They purify your habits without water and soap.
Bapu gave another mantra (formula) for self control and to get independence. ‘Ahinsaa (non-violence), satya (truth), asteya (not to steal), brahmcharya (to search the almighty), asangraha (not to store too much), shareershram (physical labour), ashwaad (to eat without enjoying tastes), sarvatra bhay varjanah (fearlessness); sarvadharmee samaanatwa (secularism), swadeshee (nationality) asparshbhaavnaa (untouchability)’.
Enjoy the world appropriately like medicine. If you take more medicine than prescribed, it will harm you and sometimes will kill you. “Ishavasyamidan sarvam yatkinch jagatyan jagat; Ten tyakten bhunjeetha maa gridhah kasyaswiddhanam.” Buddha’s samyakatwa should always be remembered. Samyak bhojan (appropriate eating), samyak shayan (appropriate sleeping), samyak vani (appropriate speaking) and samyakatwa (appropriateness) in every action is the theme.---------------Ohm Namo Bhagvate Shree Ramanay.

PURUSH (PERSON)

Prakriti and Purush (Nature and Brahma) are the root of creation of the universe. Positive and negative elements when come in contact produce a new similar thing. This is always true. Brahma and Maayaa (illusion), sun and its rays, things and their properties are similar. Body is the representative of Prakriti and Soul is that of Brahma. Sankaracharya said ‘Brahma satyam jaganmithya’. Everything in the universe is false, momentary and interim and is only the illusion of Brahma. It is totally transitory. Only Brahma is perpetual.

‘Ekoham bahusyam’. The will of single Purush made many. When He wants expansion, the universe comes in existence. When contracted, becomes alone during ‘Pralay’.
There is no difference in the physical shape of a creature whether live or dead. Only the Soul does not exist in the dead body. The dead body perishes and vanishes in the soil. The death is sure. In the journey, having no burden is ideal thing. More material produces more hindrances. Nothing accompanies. Lighter the weight, easier to leave. More collections, more repentance. When you have more riches, you have no time to think about yourself. You go far away from your real home. When you have nothing, you stay in you all the time and you have everything.----------OHM RAMANARPANMASTU.

EXPERTISM

Scratching knowledge cannot produce extraordinary result. Deep knowledge and strong practices make experts. You can give nonstop lectures, can earn false name and fame and can cheat the world by scratching knowledge. But, you cannot produce Tagore, Kalpana Chawla, Abdul Kalam, C.B.Raman, J.C.Bose, Vishweshwaraiya, Dr Bhabha, Ramanujam, Rajendra Prasad,Radhakrishnan, Tendulkar, Vishwanathan Anand, Amartya Sen and Amitabh bachchan. Before Britsh rule, experts were produced in India and we were ‘jagadguru’. No civilization is as old as ours is. We gave first Vaishali Gantantra (democracy) to the world. Nalanda Vishwavidyalaya was the oldest university of the world where students of all corner of the world came to study. We gave Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Mahaveer, Sankaracharya, Vivekanand, Maharshi Raman, Sri Ram Sharma Acharya, Parini, Katyayani, Patanjali, Ved Vyas, Satyavadi Harischandra, Ramkrishna Paramhans, Gaurang and Aurvind to the world. Followers of Lord Buddha and Mahaveer are more outside India than in our own country. We were producing Vyakaranacharge (Grammarians), Sahityacharge (literaturists), Nyayacharge (Tarkashastries- Philosophers), Jyotsacharge (Astronomers), Vedacharge (persons having knowledge of all the Vedas) etc. This is the only country where spiritualism was always paid more attention than physical world.
Regular hard practices make experts. See ‘Chandni chowk to China’. The tutor teaches the clue of being the champion of the world. He is not afraid of the ten thousand acts, which have been performed one time only. He only fears from the one act, which has been performed ten thousand times. He teaches to be unique in the world. He wants his disciple to do a thing, which only he can do. This is for all learners. Arjun was only one. Tendulkar, Vishwanathan Anand, Pele, Krishna, Ram, Raman, Ram Sharma are unique in their fields. Vivekanand cannot be made duplicate. Sankaracharya is only one. To produce second Gandhi is impossible. Parini (Vaiyakaran) is one and only one.-------------------Ohm Ramanarpanmastu.
